Welcome to the JKA Australian Shotokan Karate-do Association (JKA-ASKA).
The JKA Australian Shotokan Karate-do Association (JKA-ASKA) is one of four independent groups in Australia that now (October 2009) have direct affiliation with the Japan Karate Association in Japan. Prior to this the JKA-ASKA was known as Australian Shotokan Karate-do Association, which was established in 1991 by Jason Naylor our current Chairman / Chief Instructor.
The JKA-ASKA is also a member of the Australian Karate Federation (AKF) / World Karate Federation (WKF), which enables us to offer the sport karate “competition” in conjunction with our traditional art.
JKA-ASKA is a registered company (limited by guarantee – non profit) with clubs through–out Australia and is dedicated in teaching JKA Karate to its members.
Please visit our official website at www.jka-aska.org for more information regarding our Association.
